Dr. Lear joined our practice in 1990 after graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry. His undergraduate studies were completed at Augustana College in Rock Island where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1986. He also has a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Visual Science.

Dr. Lear practices primary care optometry and specializes in pediatric and contact lens practice. His goal is to provide quality eye health and vision care in a friendly atmosphere that acknowledges each individual's unique visual demands. He, his wife Lyn and daughter live in Rock Island.
